Locking and unlocking the screen
Prevent accidental changes mid-session with one button shortcut.
Lock the screen to prevent accidental changes to your temperature, duration, or other settings during a session. Useful when VOLTA is on a table, in a bag, or being passed around.
How to lock
From any screen, click the Power (O) button 4 times.
The screen shows a lock icon and the message "Screen Locked". All other button inputs are ignored while locked.
How to unlock
Click O 4 times again.
The screen returns to whatever view it was on before you locked it.
What lock does and doesn't do
- Does: disable button input so settings can't be changed accidentally
- Doesn't: stop the session, pause heating, or affect Bluetooth or Wi-Fi
If you lock the screen mid-session, the session continues normally. Locking does not pause heating.
Tip
Lock the screen right after you start a session if you're handing VOLTA off to someone else, or if you're in a crowded lounge where the buttons might get bumped.
