Warranty: what's covered and how to file a claim

Coverage by product, what counts as a defect, and how to file a claim if something fails.

Every VOLTA ships with a warranty against manufacturing defects. Here's exactly what's covered and how to file a claim.

Warranty coverage by product

  • VOLTA Black. 1 year
  • VOLTA 24K Gold. 1 year
  • Swappable Battery. 6 months
  • Ceramic Bowls (Chambers). Not covered (consumable accessory)
  • Screens, brushes, tools. Not covered (consumable accessories)

Warranty starts from the date of original purchase, not the date you opened the box.

What's covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • Heating element failure during normal use
  • OLED display failure or pixel issues
  • Button or input failure during normal use
  • Battery failure within the 6-month coverage window

What's not covered

  • Physical damage (drops, dents, cracked housing)
  • Water damage or damage from cleaning with liquids
  • Damage from using non-approved batteries or chargers
  • Damage from modifications or attempted repair
  • Wear and tear on consumable accessories (bowls, screens, brushes)
  • Damage from improper use, including using non-shisha tobacco products

How to register your warranty

Warranty registration is required. You must register your VOLTA in your account to activate your warranty coverage.

Register at: account.shishax.com

If you don't register, we won't be able to verify your warranty start date or process a claim.

How to file a warranty claim

  1. Submit a support ticket at support.shishax.com/ticket with "Warranty claim" in the subject.
  2. Include your order number or proof of purchase, a clear description of the issue, and photos or a short video showing the problem.
  3. We'll reply within 1 to 2 business days. If the claim is approved, we'll provide return shipping instructions.
  4. Once we receive the device and confirm the defect, we'll either repair, replace, or refund based on the issue.

How long claims take

Most warranty claims are resolved within 5 to 10 business days from when we receive the device. Complex repairs or replacements that require parts from our factory may take longer. We'll keep you updated.

Proof of purchase

Keep your order confirmation email or receipt. For orders placed at shishax.com, we can look up your purchase history with your email address. For orders from a reseller, you'll need a copy of the original receipt.
