After every session: the quick clean routine

A 3-minute clean after every session keeps VOLTA performing at its best and prevents flavor buildup from spreading between bowls.

What you need

• The included tweezers
• The included metal brush
• A dry cloth or paper towel

Steps

1. Power VOLTA off. Press O, then press O again and hold until the screen turns dark.
2. Wait at least 30 minutes for the device to cool. The top cap and bowl area stay hot well after the session ends.
3. Unscrew the top cap and set it aside.
4. Remove the Ceramic Bowl (Chamber) using the tweezers. Don't use your fingers, even after cooling.
5. Empty the spent molasses into the trash. Remove the screens. If they're heavily caked with residue, replace them from the included supply. Otherwise, rinse and reuse.
6. Wipe the inside of the heating chamber with the metal brush. Brush gently to remove any residue.
7. Wipe the top cap clean with a dry cloth.
8. Reassemble when everything is fully dry.

What to look for

• Sticky residue on the bowl rim or inside the chamber. This is normal and builds up slowly.
• Discoloration of the ceramic bowl. Also normal and doesn't affect performance.
• Anything that smells off. If you smell burnt plastic or metal, stop using the device and submit a ticket.

How often

After every session. The longer residue sits, the harder it is to remove.
