Returns: policy and how to start a return
Our 30-day return window, what's eligible, and how the refund process works.
We want you to be happy with your VOLTA. If something's not right, here's how returns work.
Our return window
You have 30 days from the delivery date to start a return. After 30 days, we can't accept returns unless the issue is covered by warranty (see the Warranty article).
What can be returned
Unused VOLTA devices in their original packaging with all included accessories can be returned for a refund.
What can't be returned
- Used VOLTA devices (the warranty path applies for defects)
- Ceramic Bowls (Chambers) that have been used
- Replacement batteries that have been installed
- Products without their original packaging
- Products purchased from a third-party reseller (those go through the reseller's return policy)
How to start a return
- Submit a support ticket with "Return request" in the subject and include your order number.
- We'll reply within 1 to 2 business days with a return authorization and shipping instructions.
- Ship the product back using the carrier and method specified in our reply.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund is processed.
Who pays for return shipping
For returns where the product is in like-new condition and the return is within the window, the customer covers return shipping.
For returns related to a defective product or a shipping error on our end, we cover the return shipping.
When you'll see your refund
Refunds are processed within 3 to 5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned product. The refund goes back to the original payment method.
Bank processing times vary. Most customers see the refund in their account within 5 to 10 business days from when we process it.
Exchanges
We don't currently process direct exchanges. If you want to swap colors (Black for 24K Gold or vice versa), return the original and place a new order. Submit a ticket and we can help coordinate the timing.
