VOLTA at a glance: every part labeled
A quick tour of every part of VOLTA, top to bottom.
Before your first session, it helps to know what each part of VOLTA does. Here's the full breakdown, top to bottom.
Top section: the heating assembly
Top Cap. Screws onto the top of the heating chamber. Seals the system and holds the bowl in place during a session.
Ceramic Bowl (Chamber). Holds the molasses. Ceramic retains heat evenly so the bowl cooks consistently. Two ship in the box for back-to-back sessions.
Heating Chamber. Houses the bowl and contains the dual-zone heating elements. Heat comes from both the top (Cap) and the surrounding sides at the same time.
Middle section: the device body
VOLTA Device. The main body. Contains the control electronics, sensors, and OLED display.
Display. Shows session time, Cap and Side temperatures, battery level, connection status, and menu options.
Down (<) and Up (>) Buttons. Adjust Cap temperature, Side temperature, and navigate menus.
Power (O) Button. Powers VOLTA on and off, starts heating, sets session duration, and manages LED and lock settings.
Bottom section: power and connection
Removable Battery. Slides into the base. Hot-swappable for back-to-back sessions.
Vent Stem. The airflow channel that runs through the battery module. Smoke passes through here on its way to your hookah base.
Base Cap. Screws onto the bottom of the device, securing the battery in place. Threaded for an airtight fit.
Silicone Grommet. Inserts into the base cap and connects VOLTA to your hookah's bowl adapter. Two sizes ship in the box: 16mm and 18mm.
