Customizing your VOLTA from the app

Adjust audio, vibration, temperature units, screensavers, and more from the app's Device Settings.

The Device Settings screen in the app controls per-device options like sound, vibration, temperature units, and screensavers. These settings sync to the device immediately.

Opening Device Settings

Two ways to get there:

  • Home tab. Tap the gear icon next to any paired device.
  • My Devices. Tap Device Settings.

Audio, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth toggles

Three independent toggles control:

  • Audio. Turns device sounds (button confirmations, alerts) on or off.
  • Wi-Fi. Turns the device's Wi-Fi radio on or off. Required for OTA firmware updates.
  • Bluetooth. Turns the device's Bluetooth radio on or off. Required for the app to control the device.

Vibration Level

Tap the stepper to cycle through four haptic strength levels: 0 (off), 1, 2, or 3.

Temperature Unit

Tap the stepper to toggle between °C and °F. This changes how temperatures display on the device screen. The app continues to show whatever your phone is set to.

Screensaver

The screensaver is the image VOLTA shows on its OLED display when idle.

  1. From Device Settings, tap Screensaver.
  2. Toggle Enable Screensaver on.
  3. Choose a built-in option: Geometric, Smoke, Nebula, or Aurora.
  4. Or upload your own image using the custom upload option.
  5. Tap Save to apply, or Revert to discard changes.

Custom screensavers can be deleted later using the trash icon on their tile.

Software Upgrade

This is the OTA firmware update path. See the Updating VOLTA firmware over the air (OTA) article for the full flow.

Device Info panel

At the bottom of Device Settings, the Device Info panel shows:

  • Model
  • Firmware version
  • Battery
  • Serial number

Keep these handy if you ever need to contact support about a specific device.
