Running a session from the app

You can run a full VOLTA session from the app: choose a preset, start, monitor, adjust, and end without touching the device.

Starting a session

1. Open the Live tab.
2. Select the VOLTA you want to run from the device dropdown.
3. Tap Choose Your Sesh and pick a preset from the list.
4. A Session Overview appears showing total minutes and each stage's temperatures and duration.
5. Optionally, switch the LED preset using the chevron arrows on the LED card.
6. Tap Start Heating.

The session begins in Pre-heating mode. Temperatures climb faster than during the main session.

During pre-heat

The Live view shows three circles: Time, Cap (Top) Temp, and Side Temp. Each shows the current value and the target.

The status line reads "Pre-heating" until preheat finishes (about 8 minutes). Then the status flips to "Enjoy Your Session" and the main timer starts.

During the session

While the session is active:

• The Cap and Side temperature circles show real-time readings vs target
• The Time circle counts down through the current stage
• The status line confirms the session is running
• The Live Stage Editor (below the main display) lets you adjust temperatures and durations for upcoming stages without ending the session
• The LED preset card with chevrons lets you switch the LED look mid-session

Pause and resume

Tap Pause at any time. A full-screen "Paused" overlay appears with two options:

• Resume. Continues the session.
• End Session. Stops the session entirely and returns to preset selection.

Boost +10 minutes

Need more time on the current stage? Tap Boost +10m. The button briefly shows a green "Boosted!" confirmation and adds 10 minutes to the current stage's duration.

The button is briefly disabled right after pressing to prevent accidental double-boosts.

Ending a session

Tap Pause, then End Session in the overlay.

The session stops. The device's "Active" badges clear. The Live tab returns to preset selection so you can start another session on the same device or switch to a different one.
